We SOAR!
Situated on an elevated site on the border of the Rockwall and Heath communities, we are easy to see and accessible on Ridge Road. Our faith journey began in a house-church around 1846. When we did first build a building, it became a place all Christian traditions in the area could use for their worship and fellowship. We are a part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), a congregational movement began on the American Frontier in the early 1800s. The purposes of this movement remain: to provide a place where people from all denominational backgrounds can find a home, to place the scriptures at the forefront, and to open Christ’s table to all people.
Our worship service is a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. You will see a variety of mostly casual, to a few dresses and an occasional suit. We don't put visitors on the spot, but we would like to get to know you if you leave us your contact info.
A nursery is available, and we offer a Children's Church that begins about 15 minutes into the service.
