FCC Rockwall

Thanks for Giving in 2016

Our budget provides for funds which the Outreach Ministry is charged with disbursing at their discretion.  This is funded through your regular giving all year long.  This past year, we were able to help the following agencies:

Boys & Girls Club

Disciples Crossing at Athens, Texas (regional camp facility)

Southwest Good Samaritan Ministries, in the Rio Grande Valley

Salvation Army (funds to be used in Rockwall County)

Rockwall County Rainbow Room

Rockwall County Habitat for Humanity

Women In Need

This, of course, was in addition to all the Outreach projects during the year to which you donated time and resources:  Helping Hands Food Pantry through the Souper Bowl of Caring, our community garden, collecting grocery bags;  the Week of Compassion offerings;  Patriot Paws; supported the summer mission trip; participated in our Triathlon of Service, which benefited the Boys & Girls Club, Meals on Wheels, Women in Need;  bought pottery from Coventry;  participated in the Family to Family grocery program; helped with the Thanksgiving Meal; rang the bell for the Salvation Army; contributed to our Benevolence Fund.  All this does not include the many ministries of the Disciples Women, such as Angel Tree, Terrell State Hospital, Military Boxes, Rummage Sale.  We also fulfilled our commitment to the North Texas Area and the Disciples Mission Fund, which touch countless numbers of lives through local programming, through direct missions, and through partnering with world-wide relief organizations.

Thank you!  You made a difference….around the corner and around the world!
